About Jerry Sider

Jerry Sider is a highly accomplished real estate professional with a rich and varied background. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, he graduated from Southern Illinois University and spent 25 years as the owner of a successful jewelry store in Chicago. His leadership skills were further honed as the Executive Director of the Downtown Chicago Business Association, where he played a pivotal role in community engagement and business development.

In 2004, Jerry transitioned into real estate, joining Coldwell Banker in Chicago. His dedication and talent quickly earned him the Rookie of the Year award, marking the beginning of a successful career in the industry. Over the years, he has held significant leadership roles with prominent brokerages, including Carpenter Real Estate in Indiana, where he led 29 offices, and Berkshire Hathaway in Pittsburgh, where he successfully revitalized a struggling office.

With broker’s licenses in five states—Illinois, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Florida, and Georgia—Jerry brings a wealth of experience to his current role with The Agency in North Atlanta. He is passionate about developing agents personally, working closely with them to establish their goals, provide coaching, and ensure accountability in executing high-impact activities. Jerry believes in creating a harmonious company culture where top-performing colleagues inspire one another to achieve greater successes.

A decorated veteran of the U.S. Army, Jerry embodies strong values and a commitment to ethics, faith, and community. He is a proud father of twins—a boy and a girl—who reside in Chicago, and shares his life with Cooper, an energetic 8-year-old Weimaraner. In his free time, Jerry enjoys staying active by going to the gym, playing golf, and indulging in water sports. He also loves attending concerts, sporting events, and dancing, embracing life with enthusiasm and joy. With a vision for fostering success and a strong sense of community, Jerry is dedicated to leaving a lasting impact in the real estate industry.
